Since the dawn of time, ‘peoplekind’ has used all sorts of objects, and implements to survive, make life easier and later, more ‘fulfilling’. Ages passed and artisans began to embellish these everyday utensils with a wider, ‘design’ thinking, without any sacrifice of function and performance.
Enter stage left, minima. in Birmingham, England, who from their post industrial showroom in the city’s Gun Quarter, offer timeless, carefully curated, mid-century modern furniture, contemporary lighting and homeware, providing a service that is unique, ‘different’, for the quotidien.
ONE1 based at the ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ of Kinto stockist minima. provides a bolthole, an urban escape space, for speciality coffee, time to think, reflect, create… in and around inspirational surroundings. The co founder & head barista maintains exacting standards of his products and service as well as demanding a beauty, a style, in presentational terms.
